Winston McFluff-The Great Pyrenees

The "Rescued" becomes the "Rescuer". I own a 4 year old Great Pyrenees mix named Winston. I love this big goofy dog. He is my everything. Being an empty-nester this boy brings a lot of energy and joy to my day. I could not survive my adventures and debacles without his constant need for kisses and snuggles. Although at a healthy weight of 120 pounds, he feels that he is a lap dog and must sleep on all the furniture and rest his head on the kitchen table during meals. Honestly, who cares! He is my dog and cannot do anything wrong-except steal socks for treats. He has learned the art of "trade me". He loves me unconditionally.

Food, Drinks & Amazing People

I live my life surrounded by food, drinks and amazing people. Life should be lived with enthusiasm and not wasted. Make EVERY day be the best day it can be and always be the best YOU so that you live your BEST life. I would not be who I am or where I am if it were not for the people in my life that love me and even love my flaws. Cheers to them and forgive me for including you in my shenanigans and stories about said shenanigans. I surround myself with people that make me my best self. I am blessed.

This Sh*t Really Happened

There are moments in my life that I reflect on and think, "WOW, this shit really happened" and then take a deep cleansing breath! In the last 25 years of my life I have worn many hats: wife, mom, divorcee, single mom, business woman, educator, and my current hat of single, empty-nester. Through the years I have encountered many things. Some wonderful and some horrifying, BUT they have all carefully refined me and created who I am today. So, through the thick and thin of it all I will be happy to report I am extremely happy with who I am and I am always working on the where part.
